Saturday September 6th 7-10pm Opening for the celebration of the photography of John Ranard.  The exhibition runs till September 30th

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Monday September 8th @ 7:30 HOWL Festival presents A Gathering of the Tribes Poets featuring Steve Cannon, John Farris, Merry Fortune, Amy Ouzoonian and Eve Packer at St. Marks Poetry Project located at 131 East 10th Street @ 2nd Ave.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Wednesday September 10th @ 9pm HOWL Festival presents a Panel Discussion on Lower East Side Poetics at St. Marks Poetry Project located at 131 East 10th Street @ 2nd Ave. Panelists include Steve Canon John Giorno, Hettie James, Daniel Kane, and Bob Holman.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Saturday September 13th 2-4pm Memorial reading of I Dream About You Baby, poems by Lester Afflick at the St. Marks Poetry Project located at 131 East 10th Street @ 2nd ave.


Saturday September 20th 8pm Patrick Brennan – saxophone / Bern Nix – guitar / Lisle Ellis – bass present Personic at Tribes Gallery



Sunday September 28th 5-7pm Book party for Tom Savage who will be reading from his new book Brain lifts along with Phyllis Wat
