Tribes celebrates Charlie Parker’s 91st Birthday/ Early Bird

August 20th-29th $5 suggested donation at the door

 

 

Now in it’s 18th year A Gathering of the Tribes is proud to celebrate the birthday of Charlie Parker/Early Bird.

When Bird was alive existentialism, blues jazz, and abstract art was the talk of the town. Now a-days anarchy, Buddhism, free Jazz, installation and conceptual art prevails, along with yoga (for those who care).

Tribes celebrates the past and the present/ the 1950s/ the year 2011.

Throughout the month of August we will be screening “The Bicycle Thief” by Vittorio De Sica
