The Unbearables reading at Tribes "One Hundred Thousand Poets For Change"

The UNBEARABLES will read at A Gathering of Tribes on Saturday, Sept. 24th, as part of the One Hundred Thousand Poets For Change (100 TPC). One Hundred Thousand Poets For Change is the creation of Terri Carrion and Michael Rothenberg. This event will be happening all around the world in the course of one day. There are groups of poets in Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, Botswana, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Finland, Guatemala, Hungary, Macedonia, Malawi, Qatar, Turkey and all across the United States (just to name of few of the places) who will participate. There is also an ecological dimension to this event: a push for a greener world in general. The UNBEARABLES reading will be in memory of our founder, Rollo Whitehead, and it will be hosted by Jim Feast.

The reading will run from six to eight pm. Directly after the reading there will be a Birthday Party from eight til whenever for Steve Dalachinsky: 65 STILL ALIVE! Please bring food and drink and expensive presents!
