“QUILOMBO COUNTRY” BENEFIT SHOWING AT TRIBES GALLERY, Friday, JULY 29 –
Only Scheduled Screening “Quilombo Country,” the award-winning film about Brazilian villages founded by escaped and rebel slaves, will be shown as a benefit for A Gathering of the Tribes on Friday, July 29th at 8pm at the Tribes Gallery space at 285 East 3rd Street (Ave C) in New York City, followed by a Q&A with the director, Leonard Abrams. Admission: $10.00. Runtime: 73 mins.

A Gathering of Tribes presents Angels Giants Monsters, a new musical by Exavier Wardlaw Muhammad.
Music composed by Lou Champion. Based on the book of Enoch, The Midrash, and the Holy Bible. “Angels” tells the story of the fallen angels, led by Lucifer, whose love for Lilith, Adam’s first wife, leads to the rape of Eve and the birth and tyranny of The Nephilim and Monsters, which all destined to be cursed in the times of Noah.
