Joseph Keckler is a musician, singer, writer, recording and performing artist, and multifaceted creator whose songs and stories take audiences on enchanting, sometimes unsettling and absurdist, voyages. Channeling elements of performance art, classical music and rock and roll into an irreverent mode of his own, he has performed everywhere from dive bars and DIY venues to NPR Tiny Desk, Centre Pompidou and Lincoln Center. His most recent work, A Good Night in the Trauma Garden was commissioned by The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Dragon at the Edge of a Flat World, his story collection, was published by Turtle Point Press. He has toured with his critically-acclaimed production Train With No Midnight, as the national support act for Sleater-Kinney, on double bills with Lydia Lunch, and far and wide as a solo act.
