Blending fine art and photojournalism, Ryan Vizzions uses his distinct photographic style to bring attention to social issues while documenting the environments around him. Vizzions published his first monograph No Spiritual Surrender: A Dedication to the Standing Rock Movement  in 2019 and is represented by Monroe Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.. For the past five years, with his beloved dog Freedom as his companion, he has traveled across the United States in a custom-built van in pursuit of creating a portrait of the nation at this moment in time.
