Lotus Root

She was made of water

And in and out of water

Wanting, wishing, withering

Without water

Glittering and glistening

Filled to overflowing

From a steady hand

Her lid was lost

Her vessel

Made for water

Emptied in a big gush

And it was all gone

Flooding the floor

Dripping down the walls

Watch where you step
